Emma Morgan : Director and Expert Framer

Emma is passionate about custom picture framing. Her philosophy is to provide a the very best solutions to all her customers’ requests whether great or small. She uses quality materials and takes great care of the pieces she is asked to frame or repair.  Her skills and experience are sought after by many, including some of New Zealand’s leading artists.

Emma’s experience as a bespoke picture framer spans over 25 years.  In 2011 she took over Silverdale Framing Services and later renamed her business Emma Jean Framing Gallery, enlarging her workshop space and enabling a gallery area in the consulting space.  She continues as owner operator from her Silverdale base serving a wide customer base which she has built over many years. Emma was a New Zealand Picture Framing Award Winner, 2013.  

When Emma is not framing she enjoys her home and local environment with her husband Tommy and their two cats.  She has four grown children and a gorgeous granddaughter.  

Heather Mann : Framing Consultant and Gallery Curator 

An extensive background in interior design, a love of art, and a sincere interest in her customers and their needs means Heather enjoys attending to your framing requirements, providing options to both superbly display and protect your precious and not so precious works.  Heather lives in Whangaparaoa with her husband and enjoys time with her grown family whenever she can which sometimes takes her to Melbourne.

Laura Ferrall : Trainee Framer 

Laura joined the team in 2019 as a part-time  trainee framer assisting Emma with the processes involved in making and finishing your custom framing.  A diligent learner, Laura juggles her time here at the frameshop with her other work  commitments.
